Welcome to Garden Wolf!

Hello and welcome to Garden Wolf! We’re excited to have you in our little corner of the internet. As you can probably tell, the Wolf and I are new to the blogging space, but we are eager to share all things that make us happy, and generally excited about waking up in the morning.

A few things to know about us…I am a human female, wife, daughter, and sister. The Garden Wolf is a female Working Line German Shepard, and member of our family pack. The Wolf does have a proper first name, but I think I will share that, and more about her, in another post.

The Garden, is where we both spend much of our time. It has become our little magical safe place where we harvest vegetables, plant flowers, and sit among the twinkle lights and fairies (yes, the garden is full of fairies.)

“The Wolf,” is how my husband and I often refer to our German Shepard, mainly because her personality is incredibly wolf-like. By this I mean, she is often very aloof, and really only cares about her people, and her food (and maybe a select few toys). But, the few things she does care about, she cares about with a fiery passion. This is something I respect the hell out of. Mostly, because in some ways, it reminds me a lot of myself. The things I care about, I care about intensely, which makes them very fun for me to talk about, and usually entertaining for people to hear about.

On this blog, the Wolf and I will plan to share a variety of topics that really get us going. Like, how you don’t have to be Martha Stewart to garden and cook well, crafts and home projects can actually be fun and not a total complicated nightmare, why Anakin Skywalker and Michael Corleone are probably the best characters ever written, and why dogs and horses are probably the best things that ever happened to people.
